So I'm here 'cause I loved y'all on mumble so much I actually decided to join.

For those of you who haven't run into me on mumble or don't do that voice chatting thang, my name's Aithere. Or "Irvling" as Majora (aka Kookie) lovingly calls me :lawd:

I'm a 19-year-old coolege student, majoring in Political Science. Gamed since I was a kid, I still game now.

You can find me on Granado Espada (Southeast Asia) and Dungeon Fighter Online (which I totally kick maj's butt at). I also play other stuff at times, atm I'm playing the game Romance of the Three Kingdoms X sporadically on the PS2, as well as Dynasty Warriors 5: Xtreme Legends (I got a hankerin' for Chinese).

Iron Maiden announce new studio album "The Final Frontier"

Fuck yes. Iron Maiden accomplished the impossible with their last studio album, A Matter of Life and Death; they recorded a true masterpiece and one of their greatest efforts 30 years into their career. To paraphrase a reviewer whose name I can't remember; "it takes a fantastic vocalist to sing better at 50 than at 25".

I wasn't expecting this album any earlier than 2011, so this announcement came as a very pleasant surprise for me. Well, it might still be delayed, I suppose... But with a little luck, it'll leak just around the time my challenge ends, maybe? :P

Now I really wish I was North American. Two of my all-time favourite bands on tour together :(

so I've encountered this odd problem when I try to use google where instead of letting me go to the site that the searchlink is saying it is instead I'm sent to some BS ad site that has nothing to do with what I'm searching for. I tried googling the problem but since it won't let me click any of the search links it did not help very much! XD

any help would be greatly appreciated!

So, since there has been no thread on roleplaying, I want to take the initiative to start one.

This one is based off of vampires (squeels)

Anyways.

Setting: Woods, 12st centure, in California but it is winter so the air is just right, slightly chilly, almost threatening snow but not quite. The woods are very large and there is no houses near in site for miles and miles. There is a full moon out that is very large...

Only rules for this forum: Use full sentences. Try to post multiple sentencs and try to indicate when an action if performed

Example: *Waves* -Waves- ~Waves~ and etc.....

Try to keep it dramatic and serious....mystic! And such...

Also: No making yourself the most undefeatable person ever in the whole universe!

This thread can go in many directions, I'm leaving it up to you. You can be vampire or human or w/e else you want to be but let's keep it fascinating. If you have some sort of name other then your Real Life name, name it! Duh, and if you look a certain way, let us know as well....

If you join in the middle of something, find some smooh way to get yourself into the roleplaying, okay?

They are such a light blue they seem almost transparent and they narrow around a circle of rocks as she moves forward, her movements seeming almost shifty and unsteady*

It's here....*She utters that phrase before kneeling down before a circle of stones and various symbols on the ground, her robe getting covered with the dirt, she tries to fix it for a second. The robe is very long and black, is has no symbols and no designs but simply is black, a dark black beyond comparison to anything mortals may be aware of. And the only thing visible of her, in this darkness, is the silver glint of her necklace as she starts to breath, shallowy, focusing on the scene before her, while trying to watch out for any disturbances*

Another forum game brought to you by MomoPlague but this one is one that will entitle more thought put into it instead of a few mindless words thrown here and there.

Anyways here are the rules to the game:

You put a "Did you know?"fact. This must be some fact that others had the chance to know about. No inside jokes. They can be random facts about animals, the past, game releases, movie information, but it all must be fact.

Example: Did you know TR went through a "mid-life" crisis and went south to be a cowboy for a few years?

Or

Did you know that there are 200 million cows in India?

What makes this a game is this:

If you did not know that fact (be truthful). You must do whatever the posted above you commanded.

Which means when you post you say something like this:

"Did you know India considers cows to be sacred? If you didn't then you must go to your profile and post one embarrassing fact in capital letters and never delete it"

And etc...

Some other things: Cannot command someone to do something that will either: 1) get them arrested/is illegal 2) has the possibility of injuring them or 3) is illogcal or immoral...

AKA try to keep them reasonable and fun! *:3*

Another note: If the person knew that fact then what you asked them to do, YOU must do them yourself. So beware of this fact!:devil:

Try to think of the best facts that are random.
